The Series 800 was our first breakthrough in the production of strings for classical guitars. This has led to our focus on the further development and production of strings for this instrument. 800 basses are spun around a nylon multifilament with silver-coated copper wire and sound brilliant but not intrusive, delivering decent bass. The treble strings, made of high-tensile nylon, offer the typical slightly damped sound of a nylon string. Today, the 800 series forms the upper entry into the Hannabach products.
