A carved solid wood frame is used to suspend the seat and back cushions. Ravel is available in solid natural ash wood, a very contemporary and casual appearance, or solid walnut, Both elegant and timeless. An organic stitching pattern accentuates the softness and shape of each cushion, made of multi-density foam, providing maximum comfort.
The Ravel seating was designed by Claudio Bellini. Early in Bellini's career, he collaborated at Mario Bellini Associati, participating in many types of projects and competitions in architecture and design internationally. He founded the design studio Atelier Bellini in 1996 with a focused interest and original approach to the relationship between new technologies and creative processes. Today, his studio Claudio Bellini Design is active within several fields of design, ranging from furniture and product design to architecture, and partners with leading companies worldwide. Many of the studio’s creations have received international design awards, including the prestigious Red Dot, IF, and Good Design Awards.
