- Compatibility: This pressure switch is compatible with all BTU's of the Pentair Mastertemp heater parts and Mastertemp 400 parts. It will also work with HD Versions of the heater as well.
- Fault: To determine if the Pressure Switch is faulty take a look at the back of your Pentair Mastertemp Control Board to see if the PS LED is illuminated.
- Location: The pressure switch is located on the inside of your Pentair Pool Heater where the black manifold is. You will notice it screwed onto the manifold with two connections to the spades.
- How to Install: Turn off electricity from the breaker. Remove the wires connected to the spades of the pressure switch. Undo the switch and remove. Install the new switch and reconnect the spades.
- Purpose: The purpose of the pressure switch (PS) is to turn off the burner if the water flow is interrupted. If restricted, the PS may stop the burner from firing and illuminate the Service System LED
