Goat is struggling with her recent adulthood and finds herself in a desperate, down-on-her-luck situation. To help with rent, she decides to try her hand at a quick mugging, innocent enough, and ends up stabbed to death by her victim instead. She gets a few good shots in, however, and both her and her unlucky victim, Fergie, find themselves stuck with each other in what can only be described as hell. Trapped in a sweltering, desolate hellscape with each other’s murderer, Goat and Fergie decide to put their differences aside and navigate the situation together. This starts them on their journey, where they encounter deadly beasts, hunger, thirst, psychological taunts, and society.
